Do you have any words to share about your Titans experience? What impact did playing for the Titans have on you and your life?

Titans gave me a space to grow with confidence. Growing up, I was always taller and stronger than my peers, which made me feel shy and out of place at school. But on the volleyball court, those insecurities became my strengths. I was able to use my height and strength to contribute to my team, surrounded by others who embraced those same qualities. Titans celebrated me for who I am, and that’s something truly special that you don’t find everywhere.

What would you say to a younger athlete considering joining the club?

You’ll never know until you try. Joining something new can feel uncertain, but it often turns out to be more rewarding than you expect. The memories, friendships, and personal growth I gained from my time playing at Titans will be cherished forever. I’d encourage any younger athlete to give it a try as it is so much fun!

Did the club experience help prepare you for future academics, careers, or athletics?

Absolutely. Through the club, I developed strong time management skills, learned how to work effectively with others, and became more open to constructive feedback. It also helped me get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Sports teaches you how to fail and keep going, and at Titans, there’s such a strong support system behind you filled with people who will help lift you back up when you need it.

If you had to describe your time with the club in three words, what would they be?

Learn, grow, flourish
