High school teacher (teaching PE & business), coaching both boys & girls

Do you have any words to share about your Titans experience? What impact did playing for the Titans have on you and your life?  

Making the 15U team way back showed me that you can start a new sport later in your life (everyone starts around 12U) and that height is a formality. I was a short LS that transitioned into lib later in University. I provide students the same opportunity like Mark did for me way back.

What would you say to a younger athlete considering joining the club?

Consider joining and put yourself out there. I was told no by multiple clubs before trying out for titans. They provided me the opportunity and helped me get to where I am today.

Did the club experience help prepare you for future academics, careers, or athletics?

Yes, it helped me learn priorities in life. It showed me how to juggle life as a student athlete and still having a social life. The balance of work/life was learned really quickly in my 20’s.
